WE’RE THRILLED TO MEET YOU!

We’re a husband & wife media team based in the Pacific Northwest (and traveling anywhere!), documenting adventurous, authentic, beautiful love stories through images and films. 

The truth is, we just really love romance. Our own love story began with a shared love for the outdoors. Nearly every memory of our early dating involved getting take-out and finding a beautiful spot to enjoy it. All we needed was each other’s company and a little adventure!

Our love for adventure spills over into everything we do — especially into our work. We view life with wide eyes and excitement, always on the lookout for beauty in the little things. We’re inspired by sunlight streaming through the windows in the morning, the sound of birds singing their melodies, all-out running through wide open meadows with our dog, Ragnar, and watching the sun set and rise again. But most of all, we’re inspired by the deep love we see and feel all around us.

When we work with couples, we really see it as one big hang-out. We have a knack for creating environments that feel relaxed and easy so that you have the freedom to just enjoy each other’s company while we capture each precious moment. Your love story is completely unique and we’re here for all of it. We create space for your connection to be real and candid — not how it “should” be, but just how it actually is. The silly, sweet, weird, romantic, gentle, endearing, beautiful, belly-laugh kind of love.

  • I’m Michelle, the photographer of this husband & wife duo! I really have David to thank for my passion for photography — he showed me the ropes and encouraged me to take the leap. I’m so glad I did!

    Besides taking photos, you can also find me hanging out with allllll the animals (especially our pup, Ragnar!), playing an intense game of Catan, purging my closet and shopping to re-fill it, enjoying a good cocktail, and exploring new places (usually with camera in hand).

  • Hey, I’m David! I’m super passionate about telling stories through film and can hardly believe that I get to do this alongside my favorite person on earth.

    So much of my childhood was spent outside and it truly left a mark on me. To this day you can usually find me somewhere in nature, especially with Michelle and our dog, Ragnar. I think the best way to spend a day would be waking up in the woods, making breakfast over an open fire, going for a long hike ending with a refreshing swim in a lake and burgers at our favorite spot. I truly believe there’s adventure to be found in the simple things!

We approach each session like we’re just hanging out all together as friends (because we are!) with our cameras in hand, ready for an adventure in the mountains, along the coastline, or under the setting sun. We create a fun, relaxed, casual environment so you can forget about the cameras and just enjoy each other’s presence. I really appreciated her flexibility when I made a date change for our engagement photos, and she was willing to go above and beyond for me and help me with whatever I needed on my wedding day.
